		FreeDOS Installation
	The Free Mouse-Driver CuteMouse from the FreeDOS-project is running well and needs much less memory than compaqs original one. So I would advise you to use the CuteMouse-Driver. If you although want to install the original compaq/logitech mousedriver, provided by SP1714.EXE, you can't do this directly under FreeDOS - the installer of the mouse-software won't work under FreeDOS. Create the floppy with sp1714.exe Reboot with a MS-DOS or Win95 bootdisk Insert the sp1714-floppy Command "install" The DOS mouse-drivers are installed. Reboot and customize the mouse-driver with the tool mousecc.exe.
